Tahrir Square, Cairo, Egypt – Day 11

Tahrir Square, Cairo, Egypt

I don’t know who she is, but she says it all.

From the BBC Website

  • Many thousands of protesters gathered for another day of protests in Cairo’s Tahrir Sqaure, continuing to demand the immediate resignation of President Hosni Mubarak.
  • The protests passed off peacefully after the army set up a cordon around the square.
  • The US has raised the pressure on Mr Mubarak, with President Barack Obama telling him to listen to the protesters and urging an “orderly transition that begins now”.
  • President Mubarak earlier said he was fed up of being in power, but feared chaos if he stepped down immediately.
